From Tom Reiss: E12 was organized at 215 Belmont Ave
(later Irvine Turner blvd) in 1894. It was the first company added to
the fully paid NFD. T5 was organized in 1898 at 213 Belmont ave. At some
point the two separate buildings were attached with an addition built
in between the buildings. Both units remained here until moving to the
new Clinton Ave firehouse in 2003. E12 was disbanded in 2011.
From 1920 Board of Commissioner's Manual: Truck placed
in service August 31st, 1918. This company has a Commercial Straight
Electric-driven Aerial Truck with truss ladders. Apparatus is in
good condition and equipped with rubber tires.
